Who can volunteer?
Anyone with an interest in working with people with disabilities and a desire to serve the community can volunteer with YATC. Volunteers include students, retirees, professionals, and people with disabilities.

What do YATC volunteers do?
Volunteers perform tasks similar to those of YATC members. They may participate in ongoing YATC activities, or may choose to become involved in specific service projects.
What are the benefits of volunteering with YATC?
As with most volunteer opportunities, YATC volunteers reap the benefits of giving back to one’s community. A sense of personal satisfaction and empowerment, as well as feelings of belonging are often reported. Volunteers receive comprehensive training, have opportunities to network, and gain leadership experience. In particular, YATC volunteers have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young adults with disabilities.
