Dessert and Discussion

Program Description

The Dessert and Discussion series invites young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to talk with various professionals and advocates in the disability community. Discussion topics include such issues as self-advocacy, preventing sexual abuse, and independent living. Discussion participants are provided with local resources and strategies for continuing these conversations at home.

Time

This program meets on Wednesday evenings. Contact the YATC office for current session information.

Cost

There is no fee to participant in Dessert and Discussion.
