Next Chapter Book Club

Program Description

The Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club program designed to promote literacy, social connectedness, and community inclusion for adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities. The program provides people with disabilities, regardless of reading level, a chance to make friends and learn new things in a fun community setting.

Book Club members improve literacy skills, make new friends, become a part of the community, and have a lot of fun doing it. The book clubs are facilitated by volunteers and hosted by bookstores and cafés in the community. Once you turn in an application form, you will be contacted about a location to join.
