What’s Next?
An information and support program for families of individualswith disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood
Program Description
The What’s Next? program provides education and support for young adults with disabilities and their families who are transitioning to community-based services and supports. Our goal is for program participants to have increased knowledge of the options available to them, a broader network of social supports, and comfort knowing that they are not alone in their search for community resources.
We meet once a week for 6 weeks. Each session lasts one hour and a half. Meetings involve guest speakers, question and answer sessions, parent discussion groups, and young adult discussion and activity groups. Siblings and other family members are also welcome!
